Every school page shows the license number from the state’s own list. If a school isn’t on it, ask why before you pay.
The verified check mark
Schools verified on RoadVerified sent us their license and proof of ownership, and our office checked them.
A certificate you can prove
Ask what you get when you finish. Certificates from verified schools carry a check code and QR code your insurer can confirm.

How do I know a driving school is licensed?
Each school on our directory comes from the state’s official license list where the state publishes one, and its page shows the license number. You can also ask the school for its license and compare.
What does the verified check mark mean?
The school sent RoadVerified its state license and proof of who owns it, and our office reviewed them. It is about who the school is, not a review of its teaching.
Can I save schools to compare later?
Yes. Tap Save on any school’s page. We email you a sign-in link (no password), and your saved schools are listed on this page on any device.
